'Birch Woods' Full & Queen Futons

• Made from unpeeled Birch logs, the futon frame is constructed with thick 6" diameter logs that are mortised and tenoned together to ensure the furniture is solid and sturdy.
• The front-operating solid wood futon frame is screwed and glued together using a thicker stronger wood not found on most futons.
• Comes complete with a lifetime warranty.
• Each piece has its own unique character as no two trees grow the same, the different knots and cracks are unique to each piece.
• Our 'Birch Woods' Log Full & Queen Futons comes finished in a 4 step clear lacquer finish.
• Some easy assembly is required.
• An 8" deluxe futon mattress or 8" innerspring mattress is available.  The deluxe mattress is layered with 4 alternating layers each of 1" thick cotton and 1" thick cotton/poly foam.  The innerspring mattress will have both coils and foam and offers better sitting/sleeping support.
• Please note that our Birch items require a special care.  The bark will peel off if handled roughly.  It can be easily glued back on however.
