Aspen Mountain 3 Drawer Log Chest

The Aspen Mountain 3 Drawer Log Chest by Mountain Woods is made from aspen logs harvested from sustainable forests in the Rocky Mountains. Environmentally friendly, all logs are harvested from dead-standing aspen trees. The aspen logs used to make the rustic 3 drawer log chest are hand peeled so as much of the natural beauty and character of the logs is left as is possible.

The log chest top is made from 2" thick aspen wood and the front and side skirt base ensures a solid platform to support this unique and beautiful log chest. The top of the 3 drawer log chest is finished with three coats of clear polyurethane to protect the wood. The front and sides of the log chest are finished with a hand rubbed beeswax and linseed oil combination. If you want a darker look, upgrade to the Bronze Aspen stain.  If this 3 drawer log chest isn't quite rustic enough, upgrade to the extra gnarly aspen logs!

The drawers of the 3 drawer log chest feature European hinges dovetail construction, and flat drawer fronts. The drawer fronts can be upgraded to a half log style for an even more rustic look.
