The Beartooth Aspen Collection uses logs from dead-standing aspen trees and are hand-peeled to preserve the natural wood color and character. The logs are dried in a kiln to a percent that exceeds the recommended minimum level of moisture in order to minimize any shrinking and splitting. The outdoor aspen furniture has a Minwax Spar Urethane wood protector applied to help enhance and maintain apsen's natural color. This clear coating provides against damage from water and sun and is mildew-resistant. It is recommended to keep this log rocking chair regularly treated like any product that is placed outdoors to keep it's clean and crisp look the same year after year. Some assembly is required.
