Our Cedar Lake Massive Cedar Log Swing is made in Michigan from hand peeled massive Northern White Cedar logs. This log swing is sure to make a statement as well as be the star attraction whether in the yard of your suburban home, log cabin, rustic lodge or even in your country cottage garden!
This massive log swing features our contoured seats and stabilizing logs to ensure the rustic yard swing will stay at the perfect tilt for maximum comfort and safety. The absence of chains at the base of the log swing keeps the swing from flipping backwards while people are swinging.
You may order the log swing unfinished or in a Cedar Tone finish. Leaving the log swing unfinished will let it age to a beautiful silver gray, or let you finish it with a clear deck sealant.
Our Cedar Lake Massive Cedar Log Swing features our contoured comfort seat slats. The slats are contoured so they won't cut into the back of your legs as you sit in the furniture. This unique design makes our Contoured Comfort line of furniture the most comfortable furniture you can buy!

“Going to order more!”
We currently have 2 of these swings at our ice cream store in Upstate NY. They are subject to some very strong traffic all summer long and show no signs of wear at all. We are so satisfied with these swings that we are going to order more for our upcoming season.

These swings are amazing! Beautiful to look at, comfortable to sit on and are quality made. Draw back is that they are extremely heavy one assembled and a bit difficult to move.

THE SWING SHOWED UP TODAY VERY EASY TO PUT TOGETHER. MY SON AND I DID IT IN NO TIME. WE HAVE THE SWING THAT EVERYONE WANTS. I MAY HAVE TO START CHARGING TO SWING ON IT SO I CAN ENJOY IT . THIS IS THE BEST FATHERS DAY EVER.

- I know the 5 ft yard swing is 84"wide x 72" d x 66" h, what is the massive cedar? I understand the width, but what are the other 2 measurements?

The first dimension is the width/length of the A-Frame. The 2nd dimension is the approximate depth of the A-Frame. The third dimension is the width of the seat.

- Hello Jennie,
The Frame Height will be roughly 90"h. Due to the size of this swing, the height of each frame will vary depending on the matching logs available at the time the swing is built. Some frames are 85"h and others are 90"h, etc.

- I live in an area that gets a lot of rain. Should the legs be set on cement/rock to avoid decay, or can they sit on bare ground without damage?
- Hi Dennis,
The legs are cedar - like the rest of the swing - so they will stand up to the elements better than another type of wood, however if you did set them on cement or paving stones or something they should last even longer. A typical cedar swing will last 10-20 years outdoors. The A-Frame lasts the longest - even sitting on the ground. If you wanted to play it extra safe you could finish the bottom of the legs with a deck sealant.
