The Cedar Lake Queen over Queen Log Bunk Bed is made from hand peeled Northern White Cedar Logs. The process of hand peeling the logs leaves some of the inner, darker bark on the logs, as well as leaving the knots and imperfections. This means each log used will be unique, creating a one of a kind rustic bunk bed.
The mortise and tenon construction not only adds to the rustic charm of the bunk bed, but also ensures a sturdy and rigid construction. This beautifully rustic log bunk bed will look great in your rustic lodge, log cabin, country cottage, or even your western ranch bunk house.

Value of the Product Quality of the Product “Strong and Sturdy”
I was looking for a log bunk bed that I could use in my rental ski condo, there is a spare bedroom that I wanted to use for extra sleeping space for 4 people. In my search for a rustic bunk bed I found that there aren't many queen over queen bunk beds that are truly made to support adults. This one definitely is though. After talking with Marni, who was great at answering my questions and assuring me of the weight limits, I placed my order. The bunk bed showed up with their personal driver who was really nice. He helped me carry the bed inside for a lot less than what any freight company would have. I'm glad he helped because this sucker is heavy! It is really strong though, I have no worries about using it in my rental. Oh, I should probably mention that it looks awesome as well. Thanks to JHE's and the craftsmen, I loved the service, loved seeing the bed on Facebook as it was getting built, and love the bed.

- What is the bunkie board option on the queen over queen bunk bed?
- Hi Sheryl,
A bunkie board will support a mattress and get rid of the need for a box spring. Thus the mattress rests lower creating more head room.
