The Cedar Lake collection is solidly hand crafted from hand picked and hand peeled Northern White Cedar Logs. The hand peeling process leaves some inner bark or cambium on the logs accentuating the logs natural character and beauty. The naturally aged cedar logs used are rich in character from nature herself and may feature beetle marks, burls, gnarls and other natural rustic character. The logs are tenoned to enforce rigid construction. Every piece of our Cedar Lake collection of log furniture is handcrafted to be beautiful and unique. No two pieces will be the same. Available in Twin, Full, Queen, King and California King sizes.
The Cedar Lake Original Log Bed comes with a single side rail system as standard. Choose to upgrade to a Double Log Rail system. Some simple assembly is required, headboard and foot board will be assembled, just connect the side rails and slats. Available unfinished, with a clear finish or with a honey pine finish.
Dare to Compare: There are lots of log beds out there, most will use wooden slats for supports, some will have no slats, but just expect you to rest your box spring and mattress on the side rails! Some beds use smaller diameter tenons making a less sturdy and less strong bed. Our Cedar Lake beds use a thick wood beam that is tenoned into the side rails for the ultimate in strength and durability. I've had the frame now for 6 months and its still looks and feels new. Was very easy to put together. This is one of the few log frames I've seen that dosent squeak when you move around on it. I will defiantly be buying another one for my house.

We shopped around and similar log beds were at least 50% higher in price. The bed is beautiful and very sturdy! We ordered the double side rails with spindles and it really adds to the look! Service was excellent!

My wife and I stayed at a cabin for our anniversary a couple months ago and ever since then we (I) have wanted a log bed. We decided to splurge (ok, my wife let me) and we both fell in love with this one (which is probably why she let me splurge). We received ours in about 4 weeks and love it. What surprises us the most is how sturdy it is compared to the log bed at the cabin we stayed at. We love the bed and highly recommend it.

Quality of the Product Value of the Product “Everyone Loves Them”
We received 2 of these beds and we love them. Everyone who sees them loves them and my Grandchildren love their new beds also (that's most important to me). The quality is superb and the bed styles are a great mix of rustic and not so rustic, they fit in fine in our non cabin bedrooms. Personalizing the beds with a cutout for each grandchild was a huge plus also. Our grandchildren want to visit all the time now.

- how do you assemble your product once delivered?
- Hi Seth,
The bed will arrive with the headboard and footboard assembled. All that needs to be done is to attach the supports into the side rails and then attach the side rails to the headboard and footboard. The side rails attach with mortise and tenon joinery and are held in with lag bolts.
