  • I recently got the 4 ft contoured comfort swing. Before I finished putting it together the directions got lost. Is there any way you could e-mail me another set or somewhere that I can download them. I have someone who will finish getting it together and the stand if I can get directions. Thank you SO MUCH.. I'm sure I will love the swing when I can get it together. It's beautiful.

  • What is the load cap. of this swing? Also how is the swing hung from the stand?

    When ordering the 4ft log yard swing by itself it will currently ship with FedEx/UPS. Most of the time the driver will leave it in a protected area and you do not have to be at home for the delivery.

  • THREE QUESTIONS:
    
    1. ON THE 4 FT SWING, ARE THE HOLES FOR ASSEMBLY PRE-DRILLED?
    2. HOW TALL IS THE A-FRAME? I MAY WANT TO PLACE ONE AT ONE END OF MY SCREEN ROOM. ALSO, IF I LATER DECIDE TO MOVE IT OUTSIDE THE SCREEN ROOM AND WANT TO MAKE SURE IT WILL CLEAR THE SCREEN ROOM CEILING, WHEN SEPARATED WILL THE SWING AND THE A-FRAME FIT THRU A STANDARD SCREEN ROOM DOOR?
    3. HOW LONG WILL THE DISCOUNTED ONLINE PRICES WITH FREE SHIPPING BE IN EFFECT?

    Thank you for your questions. Let me answer them for you:
    
    1. all major holes are predrilled - so any hole that needs to be pre-drilled will be pre-drilled. The holes for the wood screws for example will not be predrilled because they don't need to be.
    2. the A-Frame is 65" tall for the 4ft swing. The swing seat should be able to fit through a doorway. The A-Frame will need to have the legs removed to fit through most average size doorways.
    3. We are hoping to run the sale price on the swing through the end of summer.

    If I order an unfinished set, does it need to be oiled or stained to hold up to the harsh winter weather of Chicago? Or is it best to order the finished set?

  • You do not need to finish the furniture. It is made from Norther White Cedar and will last up to 10 yrs with no finish. The Cedar Tone finish is a stain with a UV inhibitor, but not a sealant.

  • What are the inside arm dimensions of the swing? The larger swing gave outside arms as well as inside arms, this one did not. Is this a two person swing.

    The arms take roughly 4 inches from each side leaving about 40 inches inside width. This can be used as a two person swing as well.
