Our Contoured Comfort 5 ft Log Porch Swing by Lakeland Mills is made from Northern White Cedar and will not only look great on the porch of your rustic lodge, log cabin, country cottage but also on your suburban porch! The log porch swing is wonderful place to spend an evening visiting with family and neighbors. Match it with our Contoured Comfort Lounge Chairs, Loveseats, and visa-tete or tete-a-tetes for the perfect porch seating arrangement.
This 5 ft log swing features our contoured seats and stabilizing logs to ensure the rustic porch swing will stay at the perfect tilt for maximum comfort and safety. The absence of chains at the base of the log swing keeps the swing from flipping backwards while people are swinging.
You may order the log swing unfinished or in a Cedar Tone finish. Leaving the log swing unfinished will let it age to a beautiful silver gray, or let you finish it with a clear deck sealant.

We have had our current swing approximately 15 yrs. Loved it. It finally has some decay on it and we are going to replace with the same one. VERY comfortable.

We bought your swing the first time through Costco. That was at least 10 years or more ago. We have enjoyed every
minute we have spent in the swing -- piling it with pillows for long lazy afternoons with books and music. It is heavy
to move around but we view that as a plus -- holds plenty of kids and grandkids without a problem! We especially like
the seat being wide and comfortably curved. We've looked at others as our swing has aged but just haven't seen any as good, so ordering up a new one from you. Our old one will shift to another area of our yard and keep giving
us a comfy place to relax. Thank you for making such a great product.Pros: sturdy, comfortable, unique design

Sure can. The cedar tone finish is a water based deck stain that is applied to the furniture. The stain has a UV inhibitor built in as well as an anti-mildew agent. It is also water resistant, but not water proof.

- 1) You mention the placement of the "swing bars" being most comfortable at 15" but are adjustable (I'm guessing you mean fore & aft), would you please explain what moving it fore/aft will actually do. (I simply would like a bit of info as opposed to assembling and dis-assembling it several times to understand the differences).
2) Also, you describe in other video/product questions what the "cedar tone" is, but would you please describe what it looks like as we have several different colors/tones of cedar here in the Sierras.

- Hi Dave,
1. The swing bars if lowered will make the base of the swing frame narrower/taller. If raised the swing bars will make the A-Frame wider and lower.

- I have a 5' A frame swing and the seat was damaged during a storm. I want to replace the seat and want to know if the side posts which would attach to the the top of the A frame are 5' apart to match the current hooks on the top of the A frame.

- What is the depth of the seat? I am looking for the deepest seat for a 5 foot swing you have without being a "bed". Is this one it, or are there others you may suggest?

The seats on all of the Contoured Comfort pieces will be around 19" deep. That is about as deep as seats get otherwise the seat would not fit an average sized person.
