This Cottage Traditional Log Bed is built solidly by hand and is very unique with a classic log bed design. This bed has full log side rails for sturdy construction and the queen and king beds come standard with a T-support. Made from Northern White Cedar logs, the logs are hand peeled to accentuates the natural character and beauty by sometimes leaving strips of the inner bark membrane on the logs.
This bed has the option for a darker vintage stain with a clear coat catalyzed lacquer finish for lasting durability as well as the traditional clear finish. As an option, you may also choose to order your bed with hand picked extra rustic looking logs. These unique logs will have more character than the standard bed will. Some assembly is required for the bed. The headboard and foot board will be assembled, you would need to connect the side rails and bed slats with the hardware provided.
Add the Underbed Dresser, if you are tight on space! The Twin size underbed dresser offers 3 dovetailed drawers while the Full/Double, Queen and King bed sizes offers 6 dovetailed drawers, 3 drawers on each side of the bed. These drawers come standard with full extension ball-bearing glides rated at 100 pounds. If ordering the underbed dressers, a box spring will not be needed.

- If we upgrade to unique hand picked logs, will we get to see which logs you pick before it's made?
- Unfortunately we wouldn't be able to get you pictures of this particular bed during construction. We can tell you we haven't had any complaints from our customers that have upgraded to the hand picked logs.

- We have a Sleep Number bed. Can we attach these head and foot boards to the platform?
- Yes, if your platform can attach to a headboard and footboard with lag bolts.
You will need to either call us or put in comments that you do not need the side rails or support slats.
If your platform does not have legs, but is more like a box spring support, you can use the entire bed and place your platform on the support slats like a normal bed. - Do you find this question helpful? Yes No
