This Cottage Traditional Log Bed is built solidly by hand and is very unique with a classic log bed design. This bed has full log side rails for sturdy construction and the queen and king beds come standard with a T-support. Made from Northern White Cedar logs, the logs are hand peeled to accentuates the natural character and beauty by sometimes leaving strips of the inner bark membrane on the logs.
This bed has the option for a darker vintage stain with a clear coat catalyzed lacquer finish for lasting durability as well as the traditional clear finish. As an option you may also choose to order your bed with hand picked extra rustic looking logs. These unique logs will have more character than the standard bed will. The bed is pictured with the foot board having the hand picked extra rustic looking logs. The headboard is shown with the standard logs. Some assembly is required.
