This dark rustic chest gains it's unique rustic charm from the dead standing timber that the logs are harevested from. Utilizing an eco-friendly harvesting process is only part of the charm in this log chest though. Dark aspen logs full of rustic character from elk chew, checks, knots and beetle holes add to the cabin decor of the rustic chest.
Your log chest is hand crafted from dark aspen and is made from solid wood. The fit and finish is impeccable, with no detail overlooked. The drawers in our Aspen Estate dressers and chests use full-extension ball-bearing drawer glides for smooth rolling drawers. The drawer boxes are dovetailed that are completely finished on the inside as well! Each drawer glide is rated at 75lbs ensuring that the glides combined with the strength of the drawer box construction will be able to hold just about anything you store inside. You may think that the strength is overkill... but rest assured that if chain mail ever comes back in fashion that you will be all set and ready to go.
Personalize your chest by choosing to get flat drawer fronts which add a nice contrast to the dark aspen logs, or by choosing the half log drawer fronts. Your log chest will come finished in a clear lacquer finish for easy cleaning.
