Black Walnut Slab Rustic Bed

This rustic Black Walnut Slab bed is made from solidly hand crafted, hand picked and hand peeled Northern White Cedar logs accented with Black Walnut slabs inserted in the headboard and foot board, to create a  uniquely made rustic bed.  The naturally aged cedar logs are rich in character from nature herself and may feature beetle marks, burls, gnarls and other natural rustic character.  And the hand peeling process leaves some inner bark/cambium on the logs accentuation the logs natural character and beauty.  the logs are tenoned to enforce rigid construction.  The dark black walnut slabs add beautiful contrast against the lighter colored cedar.  Every piece of our Walnut Grove collection of log furniture is handcrafted to be beautiful and unique.  No two pieces will be the same.  Available in Twin, Full, Queen and King sizes. 

The Black Walnut Slab bed comes with double log side rails, complete with a strong and sturdy foundation for your box spring and mattress.  Some simple assembly is required, headboard and foot board will be assembled, just connect the side rails and slats.  Comes in a Clear Finish. Choose to add a Liquid Glass application to create a glossy sheen over the Black Walnut slabs to make them stand out more.
