The Aspen Mountain Log Futon Loveseat and Ottoman by Mountain Woods is made from aspen logs harvested from sustainable forests in the Rocky Mountains. Environmentally friendly, all logs are harvested from dead-standing aspen trees. The aspen logs used to make the rustic loveseat and ottoman are hand peeled so as much of the natural beauty and character of the logs is left as is possible.
The aspen log futon loveseat and ottoman is constructed using mortise and tenon and then glued and screwed for added strength and longevity. This ensures heirloom quality craftsmanship. The loveseat is then hand sanded and rubbed with a beeswax and linseed oil finish to bring out the natural beauty of the wood. The finish may be upgraded to a bronze aspen finish for a darker look.
The Aspen Mountain Log Futon Loveseat and Ottoman will look wonderful in your log cabins and rustic lodges. This rustic log loveseat and ottoman will also look great in a country cottage or western ranch.

Does the ottoman somehow attach to the loveseat for when its a bed so it doesnt slip?
And do you have photos of the wood with the darker stain?

The ottoman does not attach to the loveseat - though that is a great idea. Typically the fitted full size sheet will hold the two sections of mattress together - which will typically hold the two log sections together unless you have a really restless sleeper.
Under the more views you will see a dresser that has the darker bronze finish, we do not currently have a picture of the futons in a bronze finish however.
