How a log vanity looks is important, but how it is made is very important in our opinion. You can see the beauty of this rustic vanity in the picture, but what you cannot see first hand is how well built your future pine log vanity is. Let us go over some of the construction details with you.

First and most important is that all the materials used are kiln dried to 8 to 10 percent moisture content. This insures that the material will not keep moving once the furniture is built. Second is that in the manufacturing process we have great employees that care about what they are crafting and take the time to select, sort, and remove defects in the materials so they make the log vanity right the first time. • The log vanity top (when chosen), doors and drawer fronts are made of solid 1 ½ inch thick Ponderosa pine that has the stress and defects removed and is then glued together for stability.
• All the furniture side panels are ¾ inch knotty pine veneer on a MDF core for stability.
• All the corner accent logs and log pulls are Lodge Pole Pine.
• All the furniture face frames are ¾ inch White Pine.
• All the top edges, drawer and door edges, accent logs and log pulls are hand scalloped using a draw knife to add unique character to your log vanity.
• In the assembly of all the vanity cabinets all the joints are glued together to ensure they will not come apart.
• All the drawer boxes are solid ½ inch aspen using dovetail construction.
• All the drawer bottoms are ¼ inch thick Luan for storage strength and durability.
• All the slides are ¾ extension, side mount, epoxy coated, 100 lbs. rated, self lubricating, Acetel roller slides.
• All the hinges are concealed, self closing, hinges with three way adjustments.

Your log vanity is available with a clear finish or a honey pine stain. It is then sealed with a catalyzed sealer. The sealer is then sanded so there is a smooth base to work with. Finally your rustic vanity cabinet is then sprayed with two top coats of a catalyzed lacquer which is moisture resistant.

Your pine log vanity cabinet can be topped off with a slab of marble or granite or you can opt to go all out in northern woods charm and add the solid 1 1/2" thick pine vanity top. If chosen your vanity top will be sealed with liquid glass finish to ensure moisture is locked out from the wood. If placing the vanity between two walls we will need the exact width so the vanity can be built to fit perfectly. A backsplash is included for every wall your rustic bathroom vanity will be attached to. For example a free standing log vanity will have a backsplash. A vanity against a left wall will have a left side splash and a backsplash, etc.

The vanities when ordered with a sink in the center will have faux drawers above with doors below. The log vanities, when ordered with a sink to the left or to the right, will feature a faux drawer below the sink with a working drawer beside them and doors below the drawers.
