Northland Birch Log Futon Chair

The Northland Birch Log Futon Chair is made from 6" thick White Birch logs with the bark left on. The log futon chair is front operating and is built using mortise and tenon construction. The solid wood futon frame is screwed and glued together using a thicker stronger wood not found on most futons.

The Northland Birch Log Futon Chair is finished with 4 coats clear catalyzed lacquer and a black, innerspring futon mattress may be added.

This beautifully rustic log chair futon will compliment any rustic setting.  Combine it with other Northern Exposure, or Northwoods pieces for the perfect retreat, whether at your log cabin, rustic lodge, or country cottage.

Made from White Birch logs with the bark left on

Add a black, innerspring futon mattress
Finished with a 4 step clear catalyzed lacquer.

Please note:
>Birch items require special care. The bark will peel off if handled roughly. It can be easily glued back on however.
