• Log side rails and outside logs on the body are constructed of pine.
• The log legs are approximately 9” thick and each are hand draw knifed to ensure individuality. 
• Not all of the cambium is removed during the draw knifing process - this creates a very unique color contrast on the tables.
• Each leg is bolted on through the leg support mounts, making the table very rigid. 
• We use only the best furniture grade pine which is kiln-dried down to 8% moisture content.   
• To ensure that the log side rails will stay straight and true, they are made as a unirail which combines the top rail and the side skirt as one. 
• Each unirail is then hand draw-knifed to give each rail its own unique character and signature.  No two rails will ever be the same.
• The inner body is completely assembled. 
• The top surface of the body is machined on a CNC (Computerized Router) for ease of assembly and to ensure the slate will lay flat and level.
• The inner body is then covered with pine and hand-hewn to give it a rustic look. 
• The slate is Lunsford Slate as they are known as a high quality Brazillian slate. 
• 1" Brazilian slate with a 5/8" 7 ply maple backer board is used for our 8’ table and ¾” thick slate with a 5/8” 7 ply maple backer board is used for our 7’ table.
• The cushions are Championship K66.
• The sights are made of black walnut in the shape of a pine tree.  They are cut out with a computerized laser to within 5 one-thousandths of an inch and are then inlaid into the unirail. 
• The pine tree sights add a lot of character to our already unique log tables. 
• Chocolate leather pockets accent the log rails.
