Each towel rack is constructed of Norway pine which is skip peeled, meaning some of the cambium or bark is left on the logs, to give it character and a rustic look. Since each log will be skip peeled, each log will have a uniquely different look.
This log towel rack can be finished in a clear catalyzed lacquer or it can be finished in a honey pine stain. The Honey Pine finish will cover up some of the skip peeled looked.
